Privacy Policy

Propdex exists to make property easy for everyone. That starts with being straight about your data. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the rights you have under Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).

Who we are

Propdex Private Limited (UEN 202699899K) is a company incorporated in Singapore. Our registered address is 2 Venture Drive, #19-18, Vision Exchange, Singapore 608526. We operate propdex.ai and the Propdex advisory service. You can reach us at hello@propdex.ai.

What we collect

Propdex is pre-launch. Right now, the only personal data we collect is the email address you give us when you join the waitlist.

When the service launches, we will also collect:

• The content of your conversations with Propdex — the questions you ask and the answers we give.
• Profile facts you choose to share, such as your citizenship status, whether you own property, or your budget range. You decide what to tell us; the service works with whatever you are comfortable sharing.

We never ask for, and never collect, your NRIC number. If you send it to us by mistake, we will delete it from our records.

Why we collect it, and your consent

We use your data for three purposes. Only the first is required.

• Providing the advisory service (required). We use your questions and the facts you share to give you relevant answers. Without this, the service cannot work.
• Product analytics (optional). We look at how the service is used — which features help, where people get stuck — so we can improve it. You can opt out at any time.
• Aggregated market research (optional). We study broad patterns, such as how many people asked about resale flats in a given month. This data is bucketed and de-identified: it is grouped into ranges and stripped of anything that points back to you. You can opt out at any time.

Joining the waitlist means we will email you about the launch — nothing more, apart from a notice if we make material changes to this policy. You can unsubscribe at any time.

How we keep your data safe

Your conversations are encrypted at rest, never sold, and never shared — unless you explicitly ask to be connected to a professional.

All personal data we hold, including waitlist emails, is encrypted at rest. Access within Propdex is restricted to people who need it to run the service.

What we never do

• We never sell your personal data. To anyone. This is not conditional on our business model — it is the business model. Propdex advice is free for consumers, and advice is never paid for.
• We never share your conversations with property agents, advertisers, or anyone else, unless you explicitly ask us to connect you with a professional.
• We never collect your NRIC.

When we share your data

If — and only if — you explicitly ask Propdex to connect you with a licensed professional (a CEA-registered salesperson), we will pass on the details needed to make that introduction, and we will tell you what we are passing on before we do it. If you never ask, nothing is ever shared.

We may also disclose personal data where the law requires it, such as in response to a valid order from a Singapore court or regulator.

Third parties who process data for us

Like most online services, we rely on a small number of service providers:

• Cloud hosting. Our systems and data are hosted with a reputable cloud provider. Data is encrypted at rest.
• Waitlist form. Our waitlist form is processed by a third-party form service that forwards submissions to our email.
• WhatsApp. Propdex will launch as a WhatsApp service. Messages you send us travel through WhatsApp and are also subject to WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy.

These providers process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

How long we keep your data

• Waitlist emails: kept until you unsubscribe or until they are no longer needed for launch communications, whichever comes first.
• Conversations and profile facts (after launch): kept while you use the service, so that Propdex can remember your context. Deleted when you ask us to delete them.
• Aggregated research data: because it is bucketed and de-identified, it does not identify you and may be kept longer for trend analysis.

When data is no longer needed for the purpose it was collected for, we delete it or de-identify it.

Your rights under the PDPA

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you, and learn how it has been used or disclosed.
• Correct any of your personal data that is inaccurate.
• Withdraw consent for any purpose, including the required one — though withdrawing consent for the advisory service means we can no longer provide it to you.
• Ask us to delete your data.

To exercise any of these rights, email our Data Protection Officer at hello@propdex.ai. We will respond within 30 days. There is no charge for reasonable requests.

Changes to this policy

We will update this policy before launch features change what we collect. When we make material changes, we will post the updated policy on propdex.ai with a new effective date, and notify waitlist members by email.
